Your Generosity Changes the World
You Can’t Out-give God
Giving Puts God First
Jesus said, “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.” (Luke 16:13)
The biggest competitor against God for our heart is money. There can only be one master of our heart. When we choose to give, we say, “God is first!”
Giving Invites God into Your Finances
Giving to His mission is how we tell God, “I want to do finances your way.”
That’s why He promises, “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the LORD Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.” (Malachi 3:10)
Giving Changes Your Heart
Jesus said, “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” (Luke 12:34)
This means that our heart follows the things we value most. When we devote our finances to God’s kingdom, we naturally become more passionate about what God is doing in our world.
Safe. Secure. Easy.
